Medixine Oy, based at Spektri, specialises in remote patient monitoring. The company combines medical and technological expertise in its solutions and is pursuing international growth.
Medixine’s products consist of cloud software, mobile applications and AI modules. They enable measurements taken by patients at home, such as blood pressure and blood glucose readings, to be automatically transmitted to healthcare providers. The solutions also enable communication between patients and healthcare professionals.

Growth beyond Finland
Medixine aims to become a significant international player in its field. According to Jokinen, the company is already in production in Spain, Portugal and the United States in addition to Finland. Medixine’s partners have also started sales activities in the UK.
Medixine has also explored the potential of artificial intelligence in a Business Finland-funded research project focusing on the use of AI in remote patient monitoring. In early 2026, Medixine joined the HUS-led CleverHealth Network ecosystem to develop new remote monitoring solutions together with other organisations in the field.
